About
I am a mixed media artist and graphic designer who is influenced by retro design and architecture, and much of my work includes photo realistic vintage objects and retro buildings. My Scandinavian background and world travel influences are evident in my work. I was raised in Sweden, and minimalism and practicality are considered virtues in Swedish culture. A word often used in the Swedish language is the word “lagom”, which translates to “not too much, not too little”. This perfectly describes my artwork, with clean compositions and large areas of negative space. I also create realistic portraits using exaggerated and vivid colors, contrasting warm and cold hues to create an illusion of highlights and shadows.
