Terrible Twins is an artist duo (Ruta Pu & Urte Janus) who are using photography as the medium to communicate their ideas. Their working technique is based on creating sets and costumes in order to transform people into surreal characters.
Their aim is to create a visual image, which would explore themes, such as self identity and the loss of it, different perception of beauty, contemporary and mass culture, the boundaries between style, sculpture, masquerade and the human body.
