Subconscious Limbo is an all-caps custom made typeface originally created for Limbo, Erok Y Brahma's debut album. Letters are based on simple geometric shapes: circles, squares & isosceles triangles, which are used to create a slight sense of abstraction. The name derives from album's overall concept, a limbo between the conscious & the subconscious, the real & the surreal, which is re-emphasized in the presentation of this typeface. Custom made glitches were used to artificially recreate a sense of disruption between your physical-self & your virtual self, as a way of encouraging you to question the impact of virtual reality on your perception of the physical world & your interactions with the physical world. After all, new media technologies are increasingly becoming integrated into our every day life that we shouldn't be oblivious to its impact on us.
