Experienced stylist in menswear and womenswear, with online experience for Selfridges.com and published freelance styling work in FaceOn Magazine and Lebara international ad campaign, paired with relevant academic qualifications in Fashion Design and Fine Art. All of these have evolved and influenced my creative mind, research, development skills and built upon trend awareness. Published freelance work gained through a pro-active attitude and great teamwork skills combined with my attention to detail, which is an essential element of my work, and a love for fashion that has been with me since a child.
I am inspired by travel, diversity, art, people, the mundane and life. I have recently returned from a 10 month backpacking trip through the Americas, Australasia and Asia. I am fascinated by unique corners of the globe and by the diversity of cultures and people. Whilst away I volunteered my time to help local, un-advantaged Cambodian children learn how to speak English, I found this very rewarding. It showed me how a group of individuals with a shared goal can succeed and make a difference. I feel that I have truly benefited from my time away and now see the world that I live-in in a different way, I have also carried on learning Spanish, which I started to learn whilst in South America.
Fashion to me is a way to express yourself, which can change from day to day month to month. No day is the same which is what fascinates me and why I enjoy working in a creative, diverse and inspiring environment such as Fashion Styling. I am confident in my work, I understand that communication, self motivation, passion and team work lead to success. I want to exceed my expectations, and others, and be the best in what I do, I want to continue to evolve my career, to lead not to follow, to inspire.
